Foundation in 1966 by Manuel Simões, the M.Simões Lda has as main activity the marble exploration. With headquarters in Vila Viçosa this company is managed by the controlling bodies of the Criamármore, with which allotment some installations.

With several quarries, this company has the exclusiveness exploration of the famous Ruivina Marble. This company have also several Excavators and loader machines, which are used in our quarries activities and also for lease. For transport of marbles, machines and heavy-haulage the company have trucks with dedicated rigids.
